mIsFiTs Like ME is the St. Louis area’s dedicated kink and BDSM photography studio — built by someone who approaches this work with the same seriousness, care, and reverence you bring to the lifestyle itself. Consent isn’t a checkbox. Boundaries aren’t a liability waiver. They’re the foundation of every session we shoot.

How it works:

Every kink and BDSM session begins with a boundary-setting consultation — a complimentary video call where all participants discuss what the session includes, what it doesn’t, and what sacred authenticity looks like for your specific dynamic. This isn’t bureaucratic. It’s respect.

All sessions are fully compliant with 18 U.S. Code §2257. Records are maintained with the same rigor and discretion you’d expect from a photographer who understands what’s at stake.

We have an extensive studio closet — Wartenberg wheels, a St. Andrew’s cross, and more — or bring your own gear. If you need a studio assistant to help with rigging or application, we can arrange that too.

Both options work. We have an extensive studio closet that includes Wartenberg wheels, a St. Andrew’s cross, and various other implements — available to use at no additional cost. You’re also welcome and encouraged to bring your own gear, collars, rope, latex, or whatever is meaningful to your practice.

For kink, BDSM, and erotic sessions it’s required — and genuinely, not bureaucratically. The consultation is where we establish what the session includes, what it doesn’t, and what consent looks like in practice. It protects you as much as it protects us. All participants who will be present at the session must attend.

You’re welcome to bring a friend who can assist without participating. If you don’t have someone available, we can arrange a studio assistant to perform that role — this is an additional $500 on the session. A waiver will be provided authorizing the assistant to perform the necessary tasks.

Yes, rigorously. Government-issued ID is required for all participants. Records are maintained for a minimum of seven years as required by law. This protects everyone involved and is non-negotiable.

We do not allow anything that results in significant bloodshed, injuries beyond temporary redness, urination or defecation, anything beyond light choking, or anything that causes distress or harm to you, your partner, or our team. If any boundary is crossed during a session it will be immediately terminated and is non-refundable.
