Explicitly You

For When Boudoir Is Too Tame

This ain´t your auntie´s boudoir

You’ve been to other photography websites.

“You want photographs that don’t flinch.
That’s what this is.”

This is not about shock value.

Matthew D. Kauffmann is a Certified Professional Photographer with nearly 25 years of experience, a theological conviction that desire is sacred, and a career built on the belief that the most powerful photographs are the ones that tell the truth.
Explicit work here is approached the way all work is approached here — with craft, with care, with reverence for the person in front of the lens, and with the deep understanding that what you want to see of yourself matters. The Quiet Math you’ve been doing against yourself — the running tally of too much and not enough — stops at the studio door.
What you’ll find on the other side is Adsit. Presence. A witness who doesn’t flinch and doesn’t judge and doesn’t ask you to be anything other than exactly, completely, explicitly you.

  • People who live the lifestyle and want it documented with the same seriousness and consent-consciousness they bring to it themselves.

A person wearing leather restraints and harnesses is bent over on a bed. The image focuses on the bondage gear, with dim lighting enhancing the textures and details, embodying the essence of kink photography.

FAQ

No — Explicitly You is the name for the collection of sessions at mIsFiTs Like ME that go beyond traditional boudoir. Same studio, same photographer, same Sacred Authenticity. It’s simply the front door for clients who already know that boudoir isn’t quite the right word for what they’re looking for.

Art nude photography, kink and fetish photography, BDSM portraiture, erotic photography, and content creation sessions for adult content creators. If you’re not sure which category fits your vision, that’s exactly what the pre-session consultation is for — we figure it out together.

The short answer: ask. The longer answer: if it’s legal, consensual, and doesn’t require anyone to be hospitalized, we can almost certainly find a way to make it work. We don’t do judgment here. We do conversation.

The mIsFiT Commission is $1,500 and includes pre-session consultation with styling concierge service, hair and makeup artistry, same-day reveal, and your Your First Chapter book. Heirloom albums start at $2,000. Wall art starts at $1,500. Content creation packages are available separately.

Absolutely. Nothing from your session is published, shared, or used in any way without a separately signed image release. Many clients keep their work entirely private. That choice is fully supported and never questioned.
